We invite you to reflect on a subject that probably isn’t at the forefront of your concerns. And that’s entirely understandable. Our minds are often preoccupied with what we perceive as more urgent or significant—whether or not we have the power to change it.
But since you’re here—and we truly appreciate it—we’d like to ask you to view these images as part of a reality we’ve all helped create. The meat industry, livestock farming, and fishing exist to serve us, the consumers.
Yet, how many of us genuinely understand what takes place behind closed doors? The convenience of picking up neatly packaged products from supermarket shelves makes it easy to forget their origins.
It is up to us to open our eyes and confront this uncomfortable reality: Every day, millions upon millions of animals endure lives of suffering—circumstances we wouldn’t wish upon any living being.
They are categorised as "animals for consumption," yet they are no different from any other creature.
